Poem: A part of me...

And as I walk into the light,
Darkness follows quietly behind.
...
A part of me, wants to move ahead
A part of me, then, warns n rests
A part of me, denies, revolts and jumps
A part of me, then, wants to escape and run

And, then, I choose to close my eyes,
And, see your face with a bright smile
And, as if I'm pulled out of here,
I find myself more alive.

I wish, I cud remain closed and blind
And, ignore the facts of cruel life
A part of me, then, wants to believe
A part of me, then warns and leaps
A part of me, then, loves to dream
A part of me, then, silently weeps.

And, then, I choose to close my eyes,
And, see your face with that bright smile
But, I know this light, is soon to fade
And, so would I
